My Day!

I love receiving homemade gifts from my children on Mother's Day. The excitement in their eyes as they watch me unwrap each gift and read each card is precious. Chad even made me a homemade card this year listing the top 10 reasons why I am the best mom. That really meant a lot to me. Chad also changed diapers and did all of the jobs that I just didn't want to do on "MY DAY."
At church Andrew decided he wanted to go up on the stand and sing with the big primary kids. He just shoved his way right up to the front. It was so cute we decided to just let him sing. What was Not so cute was his Sunday ritual of escaping to the stand to sit with Uncle Rob. That would be fine if he actually stayed on Rob's lap. No, he would rather run around through the choir seats. Chad had to retrieve him and take him out to the lobby since it was "My Day." After church let out early due to pluming problems (again) we headed to Mom and Dad's house in the O.C. to celebrate with my Mommy. She placed a miniature crown on each of our heads. I felt like a princess. I am so blessed to have such wonderful Mothers in my life. Happy Mother's Day!
