Family Fun with the Evans

Chad's sister Kristin and her family came out from Idaho for a fun family visit in Sunny So Cal. We wished Mother Nature would have been more cooperative.
Chad played tour guide the first day and took everyone to California Adventure. They all had a great time and the weather held that day.
It was a totally different story the next day though. We all headed to Disneyland and it was cold and wet! The Happiest Place on Earth? Happy we brought our ski coats because it poured on us. The Forecast~Steady rains throughout the day. Luckily we dropped Andrew off at Grandma/pa Melendez house after a quick family photo in front of the park. The kids were troopers and didn't complain~Much.
We stayed the night at Mom and Dad's house in Fullerton and headed to Hollywood in the morning. We took everyone to Grauman's Chinese theatre to catch our sweet ride for the "Grand Tour of Hollywood." It is the best way to see Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Bel-Air. I was hoping for a "Star Sighting" but no such luck this time. We did tour all of their homes though.
Downtown Hollywood was being transformed for the Oscars. Bleachers set up for the Red Carpet walk etc. Almost the whole town shuts down for the event. I bet we could spot a few stars during Oscar week. The problem is you can't even drive into town and the streets will be packed with "Looky Lous."
The next day was a bit more relaxing. We attended church and had a nice Sunday dinner. We love when family comes to visit. We love Kristin, Gerald and the kids. We hope they come back for another visit soon.
