March Madness!

Madness because I have a two year old that loves to reak havoc on the house. Makes Mommy Mad but not for long. Andrew is just too cute!More March Memories...

Date Night with Mom and Dad. My Cousin Bobby and his Wife Carmen celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary. We thought it was just going to be a party but it turned out to be a real fancy occasion. They renewed their wedding vows and asked Dad to speak. He is the Patriarch of the Melendez Family and everyone looks up to him.
I celebrated another birthday (Yippee). We ate dinner at the Macaroni Grill and my sister and girlfriends took me to Breakfast at the Market Street Grill. Good Times, Good Times. We celebrated Saint Patrick's Day. A leprechaun left string glitter all over the front porch. He was looking for his Pot of Gold. Emily thinks the leprechaun should bring presents. I told her that was Santa Clause. She asked me this morning when the next holiday was that she would receive presents. She wants a skateboard.
I volunteered in Emily's class that morning so Chad decided to help out in Kate's class for their "Go Green" party.
Dr. Seuss Week at the girl's school is always a big hit. The theme is different everyday and they allow the children to dress up. For the "Oh the Places You'll Go" day Kate and Emily dressed as Veterinarians. That is what they want to be when they grow up.
I found some cute "Cat in the Hat" and "Hop on Pop" shirts on line for them to wear. They loved them!Kate's Activity Days group held a Father/Daughter Date night. The dress code~Wear Green. The weather has been windy so for Family Home Evening we took the kids outside for some Kite Flying. Andrew absolutely loved it so the next day Chad took him to the park near a Middle School. When school let out the kids walked through the park on their way home and had to pause and watch the little 2 year old flying his own kite. Chad said everyone was amazed at Andrew's kite flying skills.

Kate ended her season playing Arena Soccer. She started playing goalie and loved it!

Kite flying how fun....I haven't done that for years. Oh the fun of a little one. Andrew is a pretty cool kid, of course the middle school kids had to stop and watch.

We should NOT let Vivie and Andrew put their minds together--that's TROUBLE! But when they're so dang cute, what is a mom to do>???
