Can't Wait for Padres Baseball!

We are so excited that baseball season is almost upon us. We had to get a Sneak Peak at our Padres at Spring Training in Arizona last weekend. We made the road trip with my sister Rachel and her family.
Our first stop the Gilbert/Mesa area. We can't go to AZ without visiting Chad's BFF "The Kever", wife Maren and baby Bridgette. They are always up for fun and hosted a BBQ so we could hang out and visit with some of our AZ friends. We love you guys!
Then we me
t up with the Hazen Cousins in Scottsdale. I think we have spoiled our children a little too much because as they were swimming in the hotel pool they asked to visit the other pools and lazy river. They couldn't believe there was only one pool to enjoy. Rachel's kids said the same thing. Are we raising Hotel Snobs?
We had to pick up some Red Velvet cupcakes from Sprinkles before heading to the game.
The Hazens are Giants fans so we had to represent San Diego. Go Padres!
The kids were all having their balls signed by the players so Andrew held up his hat. Adrian Gonzalez and his brother Edgar signed Chad's hat and so "Buddy" had to have his signed as well. Adrian is the Padre's first baseman and i
s their clean up hitter.
The Ha
nsons met up with us and we all sat on the grass and basked in the AZ sun. We had beautiful spring weather, 93 degrees (Tee Hee). Andrew kept stealing everyone's drinks. We finally had to put a stop to it when he guzzled a beer. Luckily the bottle was empty. The fans on the grass were trying to give Andrew a high 5 as he passed by but he wouldn't have it. Soon it became a contest. Who could get a high 5 from the cute little boy in the Padres jersey? He was having a blast snubbing everyone and finally gave a fist bump to a Padre fan. Everyone cheered. At least there was some entertainment, our Padres were getting killed again. It's going to be a long season. That's o.k. I just enjoy the atmosphere and being with the family and friends.

I LOVE baseball and can't wait for it to start -- I'm an Orioles fan, though, because our friend pitches for them. FUN stuff -- the only bummer is that we aren't as close as we once were . . .

Always great to see what you're up to . . .
