Where Did February Go!

I blinked and the month of February came and went. Here are some of the highlights.
Arena Soccer began for Kate. Her current soccer coach invited her to participate on an arena team. Basically, the team consists of all her Red Hot Chili Pepper teammates. We enjoy going to the games as a family and cheering Kate on. She started playing a new position. Goalie!
The weather has been crazy this month. It hailed one morning and the kids went outside and made snowballs. Here is a photo of my kids, including the biggest kid in our house.
We had a house full of family. Chad sister Kristin came out with her family (see previous posts) We also had Cousins Maddie and Payton for a few days. Party!
Speaking of Parties. Chad celebrated his 41st birthday. We celebrated by taking him to B.J.'s his favorite Pizza place. We will be going to a Duck's Hockey game in March.
I helped throw a Valentine's party for Emily's class. I'm trying to be a good Homeroom Mom. Don't the girl's look adorable in their Valentine shirts!
Chad and I still need to have our own Valentine's Date Night. Don't worry honey I won't let you forget. I will even make all the plans.
We made a trip to Grandma/Grandpa Melendez house. They always spoil the kids rotten. Thanks for the yummy Valentine's cookies Mom and Dad.
The school held it's annual Daddy/Daughter Dance. The girls look forward to this evening with Daddy, He always makes them feel special.
Chad postponed his Scout Camp Out just so he could take the girls to their special dance. Chad emailed me this fun photo of him while he was away this weekend. He is such a wonderful Scout leader.
Kate ended her regular soccer season. The Red Hot Chili Peppers represented San Diego in the Sectional Tournament this Weekend. We are so proud of you Kate!
