We went on the most fabulous cruise with my girlfriends from Utah. The whole family was invited. This was Kate and Emily's first cruise and they were so excited. We decided to leave Andrew with my sisters because I was too nervous to bring "the wanderer" with us to Mexico. Donde esta mi nino?
It was a 5 day cruise with ports in Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada. I took the girls for a beauty day in preparation for the cruise. We had manies and pedies. The girls had flowers painted on their finger and toe nails. Adorable!
The cruise left out of San Diego so it took us less than a half an hour to arrive at the embarcadero. It was great seeing everyone. The kids are all growing up too fast. Kate and Emily were in play groups with most of the kids so thy were excited to all be together again. They had a blast at the kids club and at the pool.
In Cabo San Lucas we found 2 big vans to take us to the beach. I'm sure the Hilton guests didn't mind 6 families with 22 children sharing their beach for the day. The weather was perfect. I love the beach vendors that come around. I can never say no to a good deal.
The entertainment on the ship is a lot of fun. One night our friend Dave was chosen to participate in a hypnotist show. He stole the show and became a celebrity of sorts around the boat. Also the hairy chest contest is always a crowd pleaser (JK).
In Ensenada we were able to all fit into one bus and go to the Bufadora, the Blow Hole. The tour guide asked if we were Mormon because we had a lot of kids with us. We were proud to serenade her with a few Primary songs accompanied by some instruments the kids had found in the shops near the Bufadora. The excursion to the Blow Hole was definitely one of the highlights of the cruise. Did you know that there are only 3 in the whole world. We visited one in Hawaii last
summer. I guess we will have to make a trip out to Australia to complete our tour of the Blow Holes. Near the Bufadora we enjoyed the best Churros ever made. Yummy! You can also find any fake name brand accessory along the street from purses to sunglasses.
I hope we get together soon. I miss you all already. Thank you for helping us make some wonderful memories.

I grew up spending my Summers in La Punta Banda south of Ensenada and we always went to La Bufadora! Fond memories! They do have the world's best churros and fish tacos.
