Easter began with a visit from the Easter Bunny. Our Community hosted an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. Peter Cotton Tail made an appearance to take pictures and give out prizes. The soccer field was covered with plastic pastel eggs. It took the kids less than 30 seconds to fill their baskets.
We also had an Easter Egg Hunt at the church hosted by the Primary. Andrew started to realize that there were prizes in those eggs. By the time Easter Sunday actually arrived Andrew had become an eggspert in the hunt. With a little help from his sisters and cousins he had gathered an impressive amount of eggs.
Easter morning the kids dressed quickly so that they could spend some time looking through their Easter baskets. Our church begins at 8:30 a.m. so we began our day earlier than usual. We are trying to teach the kids the true meaning of Easter so all Easter toys stayed at home while we attended church to worship our Savior Jesus Christ.
After Church we had Easter dinner at Mom and Dad's house in Orange County. After the Easter Egg Hunt Andrew enjoyed major amounts of chocolate Easter candy while I was busy visiting.
The last part of Spring Break we managed to sneak away to visit Mom and Dad Clifford in Utah. There was still plenty of snow at the resorts so Chad and Grandpa Clifford took the girls up for one more ski day before the season ended. We love spending time with our families.
