A Merry Clifford Christmas 2008

It was a very Merry Clifford Christmas this year. We enjoyed spending Christmas in Utah with Chad's family and we definitely enjoyed all of the snow!We left 70 degree San Diego weather to a snow blizzard of 14 degrees. Luckily we only caught the beginning of the storm driving in. This was the start to a fun Snow Adventure. We spent the night at our condo in Orem so I could get a Christmas color and cut at my favorite Salon. Kate could not resist playing in the snow. Emily, A.K.A. "The Diva", would not go outside because she had grown out of her ski pants. Needless to say we found some new ones so she could enjoy herself without looking like Urkel.I could not believe how much snow Mom and Dad received at their home. I love that all 24 of us stay there. The cousins had a blast together! On Christmas Eve we had a wonderful family dinner. Then Grandpa read the Christmas story from Luke 2 while the Grandkids reenacted the Nativity. I couldn't resist these costumes from Deseret Book. Even the older kids were good sports about dressing up.Andrew and Cousin Ben had on almost the exact same P.J.s. They have become quite the little buddies.

Guess what the boys did in the morning. Merry Christmas! We had to take advantage of all the snow so we headed out to go sledding. It is not a Clifford Christmas without Skiing. We went to Snow Basin, a beautiful ski area. It was very cold that day and the ski conditions were less than ideal but we still had a lot of fun. The girls have become quite the little skiers. They just race down the mountain. Fearless!
How many Clifford Cousins can you fit in one Hot Tub after a day of skiing?
On Christmas the kids (including the adults) all received wonderful gifts from Grandma and Grandpa. We also saved a few gifts for the kids to open up. Grandpa was feeling a little under the weather. We managed to escape the bug. Doesn't someone always get sick at family gatherings?
We love home movies and playing card games together. I learned a new one this year called Hand and Foot. Very Fun!
"What is that strange machine that Grandpa is using? "Thank you Mom and Dad for always opening your home to all of us.
We love you!

Looks like a perfectly wonderful White Christmas! Nothing like family to make it all magical.

What a fun time in the snow! Our kids loved it when they played in it for the first time in Dec. '07
