We took a quick trip to Arizona to attend the blessing of Baby Bridgette. Who is Bridgette you ask? The cute as a button daughter of The Kever and Maren. Kevin or more commonly referred to as, The Kever, is Chad's BFF from Colorado. They are childhood friends and have remained such through the years. Kevin was Chad's Best Man at our Wedding and Chad was Kevin's Best man..... You get the picture.
Anyway, we stayed at the beautiful JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix where Kevin and Maren held their wedding reception two years a
go. It has become our home away from home every time we visit A.Z.
The Blessing of sweet baby Bridgette was a 3 day event. That is just how things are done now that Kevin married into the Tobler family. I have to admit, I love their style.
First, a BBQ and Pool Party. Day Two, Dinner at ..oopsy forgot the name. A restaurant near the Scottsdale Mall. It is a more glamorized Cheese Cake Factory. Yummy Desserts! And finally, a Sunday Luncheon held after Bridgette's Blessing.
As we sat around the t
able enjoying our lunch we started taking bets on whose kid would end up in the pool first. I knew it wouldn't be my children because we have taught them that there is NO swimming on the Sabbath. Ya Right!
