Emily had her tonsils and adenoids removed yesterday at Rady Children's Hospital. I thought I would post a few photos so she could remember how brave she was. Thank you to our family and friends for keeping Emily in your prayers.
Her Daddy gave her a blessing before we left for the hospital. Because of that blessing and all of your prayers Emily's surgery was a success.
We love you Emy Bug. Now enjoy all the ice cream, gummy bears and chewing gum you want. Doctor's orders!

McKenzie had that done at Emily's age too...but she didn't look quite as happy as Emily looks! What a champ! Just make sure she drinks, and drinks and drinks no matter how badly it hurts (days 3-4 are the worst). Happy healing!!!!
I am glad the little Patient is doing good! We sure do love her, give her a hug and a kiss for us.
Awe! Good for Emily! She is so brave!!!! The hospital is scary!
